Veterinary work and visiting Nomad families


Using veterinary skills to serve alongside non-vet outreach workers in a variety of locations. Veterinary work is only expected to be part time, the rest of the time is for visiting families and contacts to share the gospel, discipleship of new believers and Bible teaching, depending on gifting. Applicants will be expected to acquire a good level of Chadian Arabic which they will learn in Chad before and during term of ministry. They will be part of the WEC team in Abéché and will be expected to play a full part in the life of that team, sharing its goals and vision.See also Nomads.


  • Fully qualified veterinary with experience of livestock.
  • Ready to deal with camels, cattle, sheep and goats.
  • Readiness to learn to cope in low tech conditions.
  • Must love the people.
