Job Description
There are opportunities in a variety of locations to engage with young adult Muslims of a number of different ethnicities. The Chadian dialect of Arabic is distinctive, but knowledge of other Arabic dialects provides an entry. Applicants will be placed in the town of Abechewhere a team is already sharing the gospel with Shuwa Arabs, Maba, Massalit and possibly other peoples. (See Unreached Peoples)
Qualifications
- A love for Arabic speaking peoples needed and a desire to share one's faith in an Islamic context.
- Some confidence in spoken Arabic needed.
- Willingness to learn and appreciate the local form of the language.
- Previous experience of sharing the gospel in Arabic is a great advantage.
